In school we learned about the geometry of triangles. We were taught that the angels of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. Whether it is equilateral or isosceles or scalene, the angles of a triangle always add up to the 180 degrees, and we can use that knowledge to compute unknown angles and other information from the known measurements we have.
