I often get the question, “What about the Bible Codes?” When people ask that, they often have the impression there is a certain special code that unlocks deep secrets. That is a lot of propaganda. I can tell you that there are a large number of encryption in the Bible. There is a particular kind of code called an equidistant letter sequence that I find particular interesting. By reading every third or fifth letter or tenth letter in a passage - there is no set number - important words can be found. It seems that this could be a coincidence. Surely we could find the word “cat” or the phrase “seek the code” by counting every so many letters in a chapter of this book. Those I find interesting in the Bible are not single words or ideas, but combinations.
